He is everything I have ever wanted, Everything the way it was supposed to be. Love received and love reciprocated, He knows how to value my love. Close my eyes and let go, Waiting for the fall, but he hugs me tight. He makes me falter in my steps, Because he loves me so right. And it is this love that overwhelms, And this love that makes me a mess. For I'm used to giving more and receiving less, And he gives me equal and raises me higher. A standard he creates, A standard hard to follow. I would have summarized him as perfect, But then everybody would want him. So I hide his name in my archive, But I put a heart beside it because he owns it.
